What sets you apart from other wedding coordinators?

At Emily + Co Events, every couple benefits from a thoughtful, hands-on planning experience supported by a carefully trained team. From your initial consultation through wedding day execution, planning is guided by Emily, ensuring that your vision, priorities, and details are clearly communicated across design, budget, vendors, and logistics — with nothing lost in translation.

Our coordination team is intentionally hired, trained, and scheduled using consistent standards. We work exclusively with experienced coordinators who are educated in wedding logistics and local venue expectations, rather than relying on interns or family members on your wedding day.

Each member of the Emily + Co Events team follows the same proven systems, templates, and planning processes, and maintains strong relationships with local vendors and venues. This consistency allows us to deliver seamless execution and a reliable, elevated experience at every wedding we produce.

Beyond logistics, our planners are known for their calm presence, creativity, professionalism, and genuine care for our clients. Wedding planning often overlaps with real life, and we are proud to support our couples not only through timelines and details, but also through family dynamics, unexpected challenges, and moments that require compassion and reassurance.

Our organized, curated approach has resulted in a strong reputation within the wedding community. Nearly 70% of our annual bookings come from referrals by past clients, venues, and vendors who trust our process and value the peace of mind we provide throughout the planning journey.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A VENUE COORDINATOR AND A WEDDING PLANNER, AND WHY WOULD I NEED BOTH?

These are two very different roles, and both are important. At most weddings, we work closely alongside a venue coordinator. The venue coordinator is responsible for managing venue-related logistics such as catering, service staff, and the facility itself.

A wedding coordinator, on the other hand, works across all locations involved in your day — from getting-ready spaces and ceremony sites to transportation logistics and reception flow. We also manage your personal details, timeline, and vendor communication, and most importantly, we work for YOU, not the venue.

We collaborate seamlessly with venue coordinators and are frequently referred by them. By allowing each professional to focus on their area of expertise, we ensure your wedding day runs smoothly, efficiently, and with your experience always at the center.

DO YOU CARRY INSURANCE?

Yes, we carry business liability insurance and can provide the certificate of insurance to the venue upon request! We also carry a second insurance for the rental items above!

CAN YOU SEND ME A PRICE LIST?

We would be happy to! Our complimentary consultations allow us to learn more about your wedding plans and vision, after which we’ll review our service options and provide customized pricing for your day.
